Blitz mode: 10 rounds, 15 seconds each
Blitz is Geo Heist at full speed: 10 locations, 15 seconds per round, and normal movement if you dare to use it. It rewards players who recognize Los Santos and Blaine County at a glance, and it makes a quick warm-up for regulars of this GTA V map guessing game.

How Blitz plays
Each round gives you 15 seconds of guessing time after a 3-second countdown. Walking, looking around and zoom all work as in Classic, but every step is time you are not spending on the map. Most rounds come down to one camera turn, a quick read of the surroundings and a pin.
Blitz is about recognition rather than investigation. With 10 rounds, a game shows you twice as many locations as Classic, which makes it a fast way to cover a wide slice of the map and to notice which areas you still confuse with each other.
Blitz scoring
Blitz uses ordinary scoring: up to 5,000 accuracy points per round from the distance curve, plus a speed bonus of up to 10% for manual guesses. With only 15 seconds, the bonus drains fast. A confident pin after 3 seconds still keeps 80% of it, while a pin in the final second keeps almost none.
An unanswered round scores 0, and the weekly board ranks Blitz by average points across all 10 required rounds, so a missed round cannot be hidden. A rough pin in the right district is always better than a blank: 1 km off is still worth about 3,770 points.
Playing Blitz solo or with friends
Blitz is available solo and in an invite party. Official solo runs with all regions enabled go on the rolling 7-day leaderboard. Blitz is also not the same as Speedrun: Blitz has a short fixed clock with normal scoring, while Speedrun keeps a longer clock and lets the score itself decay after a grace period.
In a party, each round waits until every required player has loaded, for up to 20 seconds, before the shared countdown. When only one player is still guessing, the last-player countdown can cut their time to 10 seconds, though with a 15-second clock it rarely changes much.
Blitz tips
Look before you walk. One full camera turn for skyline, water and hills usually tells you the region inside 3 seconds.
Learn the color of the ground. Green lawns and palms, dusty brown scrub and dark pine forest split the map into city, desert and north almost instantly.
Aim for the right district rather than the right street. The accuracy curve is generous close in, and a timeout is worth nothing.
Pin first, then adjust. An early rough pin is saved as your answer, so the deadline settles something even if you are still refining it.
Keep a hand near Space. It submits a selected pin without reaching for the button, which matters when every second is a slice of the bonus.
