No Move: solve the location from one spot
No Move keeps you rooted to the starting panorama. You can look in every direction and zoom in, but you cannot walk. It suits players who enjoy reading details, and it brings the no-move style familiar from GeoGuessr to GTA 5 street views.

What you can and cannot do
A game has 5 rounds of 60 seconds. The full panorama is available, so you can turn through 360° and zoom in to read a sign, a plate or a distant landmark. Walking to connected locations is switched off, which means everything you learn has to come from that one view.
No Move and No Pan are separate restrictions. The official No Move preset still lets you look around. For the harder version, a Custom game can also turn off looking around and zoom, so you guess from one fixed frame, much like the NMPZ format some players already know. Custom games do not rank.
Scoring without movement
Scoring matches Classic: up to 5,000 points for accuracy using 5000 × exp(-(d/2200)^1.6), plus a speed bonus of up to 10% for a manual guess, which drops linearly over the 60 seconds. Because nobody can walk, no travel deduction can apply, whatever the settings.
That makes the speed bonus more meaningful than in Classic. Once you have read the view, extra time rarely adds information, so the fastest confident pin tends to win the round. Official solo runs with all regions count on the weekly board by average points per round.
Solo and party No Move
No Move is available solo and in an invite party. In a party everyone studies the same fixed spot, which makes it a fair test of observation: nobody finds a street sign just by walking faster. Rounds stay calm and quick, since most players finish reading the view well inside the minute.
Hosts adjust the Custom rules in the lobby, for example turning off looking around, while members see the selected mode and rules without editing them. Leaving a party forfeits your current seat, so finish the game before stepping away. Empty lobbies close immediately, and idle rooms expire after 10 minutes without activity.
No Move tips
Do a full slow turn before anything else. The clue that solves the round is often behind you: a freeway sign, a water tower or the Downtown skyline.
Zoom on text. Shop names, street signs and billboards are often readable at full zoom and can place you on a single block.
Read the road itself. A wide multi-lane road with a median points to the city or a freeway, while a narrow 2-lane road with dirt shoulders means Blaine County.
Compare building styles. Low stucco houses and canals fit Vespucci, gated mansions behind tall hedges fit Rockford Hills and the Vinewood Hills, and trailers on dusty lots fit Sandy Shores.
Use the horizon. A large mountain, the Vinewood Hills behind the city or open desert flats all tell you which part of the map you are facing.
